Dr. Fairchild grew up in Idaho and loves being a part of the Austin community. She is a Board-Certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree was completed at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2008. Following dental school, she completed an extensive two-year pediatric dental residency program at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2010. With her additional training, she gained valuable knowledge and experience with in-office conscious sedation, general anesthesia, behavioral management techniques and trauma on-call cases.

'I am passionate about pediatric dentistry and practice a team approach with both the patient and parent to establish good oral hygiene habits. My treatment philosophy is to treat each child as if they were my own, and give them a positive experience for a lifetime of good oral health through prevention.'

Dr. Fairchild enjoys staying active outdoors through running, boating, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her sons Jayden and Braxton, and dog Simba.

Dr. Fairchild is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and is current with Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is also credentialed at Oakwood Surgery Center.

Dr. Aurora earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry in 2004. Following dental school Dr. Aurora chose to complete a year of General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. During her dental training Dr. Aurora demonstrated a natural ability to treat children and patients with special needs. Dr. Aurora then pursued training in Special Patient Care at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, NY. She provided dental services to individuals of which were medically compromised with physical or developmental disabilities. Dr. Aurora then went on to complete a two year Pediatric Specialty training residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City and served to be Chief Resident in her second year.

Following her successful completion of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Aurora was asked to become an attending for Special Patient Care at Rose F. Kennedy Center a part of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. Dr. Aurora supervised post doctoral residents in their training by providing guidance and training. Additionally, she was also in Private Practice specializing in Pediatric Dentistry located in Long Island, NY for three years.

Dr. Aurora is dedicated to spending quality time with her husband and children. She enjoys staying fit, playing tennis, skiing, traveling and hanging out with friends and family!

Dr. Aurora is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She is a part of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Conscious Sedation.

Dr. Shiny Thomas, a native Texan received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch. With a deep interest in treating special needs patients, she then completed a General Practice Residency from the UT Houston Dental Branch and Memorial Hermann Hospital in 2005. Her unique ability to work with anxious patients and young children and her love for learning led her to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program, where she earned her Specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 2009.

I want every child to have a positive experience and receive high-quality dental care and treatment in a warm, caring environment.”

Dr. Thomas is blessed to be a mom of two boys that keep her quite busy! In her spare time, she enjoys playing contemporary and classical piano, reading, traveling, and experiencing life with her family, friends, and amazing church.

Dr. Thomas is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and was awarded the prestigious Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for outstanding performance on the ABPD Examination, placing her in the top 3% of all candidates in 2009. She holds certifications in oral conscious sedation, CPR, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and laser dentistry. Her special interests include infant oral health, children with special needs, cosmetic dentistry, and a natural, holistic approach to caries and oral disease prevention.

Born and raised in Mombasa, Kenya, Dr. Sheetal Asher attended University of Bristol (UK) where she received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). She received an award for the highest score for the Child Dental Health assessment in the graduating class. After graduation, she worked in the NHS (National Health Service) and private practice in multiple dental specialties including Pediatric Dentistry, Dentistry for special care needs, and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. While in the UK she became a member of prestigious Royal College of Surgeons.

Desiring to be closer to her family, Dr. Sheetal Asher decided to relocate to the US. She passed her National Board Exams and received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM). 

Upon graduation, Dr. Asher served as a full-time faculty member at HSDM and was actively involved in teaching, research, curriculum reform and organizing community service events for children. Dr. Asher met her husband while they were both living on the East Coast after which they moved to the Austin area in 2015.

Dr. Asher worked in private practice as a General Dentist in the Austin area for multiple years before she decided to pursue her passion in Pediatric Dentistry. In 2019, she enrolled into the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. During her residency, she received extensive training in preventive and restorative dentistry, oral conscious sedation, hospital dentistry and caring for medically compromised patients.

Dr. Asher is Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK), American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association (TDA). She is certified in both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Dr. Asher understands the unique attention our children need when seeing a dentist and dedicates herself to ensuring both kids and parents have a positive and educational experience during their appointment.

Outside of work, Dr Asher is a busy mom caring for her toddler- age son and engaging her school-aged daughter. She enjoys the lifestyle the Austin region provides with its excellent school system, recreational trail networks, and the exciting events that are offered throughout the year.
